The management in my location wasn't bad at all, but the company itself isn't very good at managing locations well. You might get lucky and work in the printer area, but you have nowhere to sit, and the managers don't wanna see you sit around of course. The job isn't that bad unless if you hate working with your hands, moving products, and walking around the store all day. This was my first job, and honestly, if you are looking for a decently paying job, Office Depot isn't that bad. I'm dealing with a range of jobs from copies, to resizing images, to retouching old family photos, to designing business cards, to making carbonless-copies, etc, and the newly hired cashier gets the same pay? This job isn't the worst, if it just had some better support, it would probably be a decent place to work but as I've seen it, they just throw you in and expect you to sort out the mess. In addition, your team has to have really good cooperation and communication, otherwise jobs get left out, get misplaced and you get angry customers for jobs you've never even seen before. However in print & copy, we are regularly dealing with customers who patronize us or demand we do their job for them right this moment.
